Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 11th that 3,342 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It was the 19th consecutive day that it was below the same day of the previous week.
The breakdown is 691 in Fukuoka, 582 in Kitakyushu, and 157 in Kurume.
It also includes those who tested positive in voluntary tests using antigen test kits distributed by the prefecture.
On the other hand, two people announced as infected on the 10th were withdrawn.
A total of 1,038,811 people were confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
