On the morning of the 8th, the 12th typhoon 'Muipa' occurred in the distant seas east of the Philippines.

Muypa is the name submitted by Macau for plum blossoms.

Although it is a small typhoon that has not yet occurred, it is expected to gradually increase in intensity.

As there is no wind to disturb the typhoon, Muypa is expected to gradually rise northwest, and is expected to pass through the western seas of Okinawa around Tuesday next week.

Even at this time, it is a small typhoon with a strong wind radius of 240 km, but the central wind speed increases to 37 m/s, and the intensity rises to a strong grade.

There are various predictions as to how the westerly winds that subsequently bend the typhoon's path to the east will blow.

Depending on the strength and location of the westerly wind, the course of the typhoon has various possibilities from the west coast of Korea to the Korean Strait to Japan.

[Kang Nam-young / Professor, Department of Geography, Kyungpook National University: The course of typhoons in autumn is greatly affected by the cold air flow from the north.

By the weekend, this flow will take shape and the outline of the typhoon's course will be revealed.]

Since Hinnamno drew a lot of the heat from the sea, it remains to be seen whether it will maintain its power when the typhoon moves north.

The Korea Meteorological Administration expects to be able to determine the movement path of Typhoon Muipa within three days or so.
