"Fukusasa-ame" is a bamboo twig that symbolizes vitality and is decorated with "chitose-ame" and bells to ward off evil.



On the 8th, about 40 members of the Mikoya Women's Association and other members of Atsuta Jingu Shrine, before the peak of worship is about to arrive, make "Fukusasaame", cleverly tying Chitoseame candy bags to bamboo twigs. I had completed "Fukusasa candy".



In addition to being handed over to children who have received Shichigosan prayers, the lucky bamboo candy can also be purchased by worshipers, and 16,000 lucky bamboo candy will be prepared this year.

According to Atsuta Shrine, the number of visitors to Shichigosan has decreased since the spread of the new corona infection, but about 250,000 people are expected to visit this year, and the peak will be on Saturdays and Sundays in November.
