The 8th was the fourth day after the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 in Luding, Sichuan. During the rescue process, the life relay raced against time without interruption. One moving picture after another was frozen among the rapids, rubble, and gravel.

At 12:52 on September 5, an earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred in Luding County.

Rescue forces from all sides rushed into the disaster area.

When the Ganzi Special Police arrived at the intersection of Moxi Town and Qinggangping, they were blocked by the rushing river.

They used their bodies and ropes to build bridges, and with the help of waist locks, they climbed the ropes to the other side. A "Flying Luding Bridge Rescue" set off Chinese social media.

"There was a roaring river under me, and the sound of stones hitting each other in the rapids was right in my ears," recalled SWAT police officer Tuden Wangqiu. "It's a lie to say that I'm not afraid, but what I thought at the time was to enter the disaster area quickly." After crossing the river , They used local materials to build a simple wooden bridge over the water to open up a "passage of life" for the trapped people.

On the day of the earthquake, hundreds of people passed the wooden bridge and were successfully transferred to safety.

"It's here!" On the afternoon of the 5th, a surprise shout came from Moxi Town, the epicenter.

Several rescuers dug the soil with their bare hands and rescued a trapped man.

The passage was narrow, and excavators could not reach it; the crowd lifted the boulders by the roadside; the pickaxes cut through the surrounding gravel, and finally approached the trapped person.

At about 16:00 on the 5th, Sichuan forest firefighters rushed to Mozigou Village and Qinggangping Village in Moxi Town to carry out rescue operations. The river between the two villages blocked the way forward.

The team members immediately ran to the nearby hillside, brought more than a dozen tree trunks with a thick bowl mouth, tied them together with ropes, and built a wooden bridge to open up the passage of life.

Afterwards, they formed a "human chain" to escort the wounded and trapped people across the river by supporting or carrying them on their backs.

Shimian County, Ya'an City was severely affected by the earthquake.

Due to the interruption of road traffic, Wanggangping Township, which is located in the Dadu River Gorge, has become an "isolated island".

From 22:00 on the 5th to the early morning of the 6th, the rumbling kayak transported more than 500 rescuers into the depths of the canyon and picked up the trapped people.

"Island is not alone", the kayak back and forth on the turbulent river, freezes the relay of life.

On the afternoon of the 6th, Zhang Zili, a fireman from the Wenchuan Brigade of the Aba Forest Fire Detachment, returned to the safe area with a baby in his arms. The word "Wenchuan" on his armband was particularly striking.

"When the Wenchuan earthquake occurred 14 years ago, it was the uncle of the People's Liberation Army who held me, and now I am holding other little dolls. There is a sense of pride in inheriting the spirit of earthquake relief." The "post-00" firefighter said.

The mountain after the landslide exposed the soil and stone layer, and on the cliff, several excavators were carefully digging the landslide and repairing the road.

This picture is both disturbing and moving.

After the earthquake, the road from Moxi Town to Hailuogou Scenic Area was blocked by the collapsed mountain.

As of the 7th, regardless of the danger, the staff cleared the most difficult 2 kilometers of the clearing operation.

Moving moments continue to occur in the earthquake zone.

After the earthquake, some roads in the disaster area were obviously damaged, and gravel and rubble can be seen everywhere.

Rescuers use hemp ropes, bandages, cloth strips or even homemade wooden baskets to fasten the wounded and the elderly on their backs, or hold the ropes tightly, or firmly hold the branches on the side, step by step down the steep slope, climb Go over the boulders and successfully move them to safety.

On the afternoon of the 7th, firefighters carried disaster relief supplies weighing up to 120 kilograms, along the deserted mountain road for many years, and advanced to Mogangling Village, which is known as "the northernmost Yi village in China".

During a break, a firefighter took off his helmet, and sweat dripped from the sponge on the inside of the helmet.

Frame by frame freezes the picture, which continuously brings together the emotion, perseverance, trust and bravery in the rescue process into hope and great love after the natural disaster.
