The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced the activities of the Dubai Performing Arts Program 2022 for the months of September and October 2022, providing children and young people with a continuous and valuable platform to develop their artistic passion for theatrical music, singing, composition and photography, and to launch into the horizons of creativity.

Dubai Culture invited the most promising talents in the musical field from Emiratis and residents, ages 15 and over, to join a variety of interactive specialized training workshops, which were launched at the Al Jalila Center for Child Culture on the 4th of September 2022, and will continue until the first of next October. Under the supervision of a distinguished elite of veteran musicians from the United Arab Emirates and the world, to develop and refine their skills.

The “Musical Strings” workshops aim to explore the energies and promising talents within the axes of playing and singing, through rich interactive workshops in the field of piano playing, under the supervision of the artist Alyssa Devorkina, and playing the oud with the artist Haider Hassan Al-Hakim, and the violin under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Hamami, as well as specialized workshops In the field of singing with the artist Ayham Hammami.

Through these workshops, Dubai Culture aims to activate the musical movement in the Emirate of Dubai and establish a strong base for music that works to discover talents from the new generations and enable them to become professional, which contributes to enriching the sector with young talents in the fields of musical arts, in order to enhance the status of The emirate as a global center for culture, an incubator for creativity, a forum for talent, and the capital of the creative economy.

The program, in cooperation with the Akkas Foundation for Visual Arts, also includes theoretical interactive workshops in photography for theatrical performance, which will be received by Al Jalila Center for Child Culture on September 17 and 24 at Al Jalila Center, in addition to practical workshops in the same field, which will be held on the stage of the Culture and Science Symposium throughout On the 27th, 28th and 29th of the same month.

In addition, during the program, "Dubai Culture" will provide specialized workshops in theatrical writing, under the supervision of the well-known Emirati author, actor and director Maree Al-Halyan, at Al-Twar Public Library, from the third to the 13th of October 2022.
