China's National Health and Health Commission announced on the 6th that the National Health and Health Commission dispatched national-level medical treatment and epidemic prevention forces to the earthquake-stricken area in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province to support and guide Sichuan Province to make every effort to treat it. For the wounded, coordinate the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic and post-disaster disease prevention.

  At 12:52 on September 5, 2022, an earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

  After the earthquake, the National Emergency Medical Rescue Team (Sichuan), the National Health Emergency Mobile Disposal Center (Sichuan University West China Hospital), and the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Emergency Medical Rescue Team Health Emergency Squad for Trauma, Critical Care, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Anesthesia and Nursing, and More than 70 experts in public health and other fields rushed to the disaster area to provide support as soon as possible.

Many hospitals such as West China Hospital of Sichuan University and Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital quickly opened green channels to prepare for the treatment of the wounded.

  In addition, three national emergency medical rescue teams from Chongqing, Shaanxi and Hunan are ready to go to disaster-stricken areas as needed.
