The Netflix streaming platform is working on a cheaper subscription, including ads.
A way to try to win back subscribers after many departures due to successive price increases.
This new subscription was due to arrive at the beginning of 2023. But it could appear earlier in France, Germany, Great Britain, Canada and the United States, according to information from

There, the new subscription could be available from November 1, 2022. The streaming giant has already started looking for advertisers to be able to implement its new strategy.
A few euros cheaper
Netflix would thus like to get ahead of Disney+, which is due to launch a subscription with advertising from December 8, 2022.
The latter should first arrive only in the United States.
For its part, Netflix hopes to welcome 500,000 new customers by the end of 2022 thanks to this new subscription.
In France, prices start at 8.99 euros for the moment.
The new subscription could be offered two to three euros cheaper, specifies

.
On the advertising side, the platform could impose a four-minute advertising break after one hour of series viewing.
For films, these spots should be broadcast in pre-roll, i.e. before the launch.
