Iwate Prefecture announced on the 5th that 576 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
Compared to Monday a week ago, there were 8 more people, surpassing the same day of the previous week for the first time in 12 days.
The total number of infected people in the prefecture has reached 95,536.
On the 5th, no one was announced who died from the new corona.
