  Affected by the earthquake, as of 18:00 today, 13 people have been killed in Shimian County, Ya'an City, and some towns have been affected to varying degrees.

In terms of transportation, the domestic National Highway 108 and Provincial Highway 217 were interrupted; the roads in Wanggangping Town, Caoke Township, and Xinmin Township, Shimian County were interrupted; in terms of communications, some trunk lines and local networks were damaged, and 79 base stations were interrupted and retired; Line tripped, substation out of service.

  After the earthquake, Ya'an City quickly launched the second-level emergency response to the earthquake disaster, and established the Ya'an "9.5" Luding Earthquake Relief Headquarters.

According to the relevant situation of the disaster, the Ya'an Earthquake Relief Headquarters decided to upgrade the earthquake disaster emergency response level to Level 1 in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Ya'an Earthquake Emergency Response Plan".

At the same time, in accordance with the provisions of the "Ya'an City Natural Disaster Relief Emergency Plan", Ya'an City's first-level natural disaster relief emergency response was launched.
