When Chinese President Xi Jinping promised that any foreign attempts to subdue Beijing would hit its bloody heads at the steel wall of China that was built by more than 1.4 billion Chinese;

His words resounded sharply in the corridors of Western politics and its media, and among its experts and observers.

"The people of China will never allow any foreign power to dominate, suppress or subjugate them," said Xi Jinping, vowing to strengthen the Chinese army, reunify Taiwan, and ensure social stability in Hong Kong while safeguarding China's security and sovereignty, stressing that "the Chinese people do not He is good at destroying not only the old world, but also the creation of a new one," and that China "will strengthen its armed forces to protect its sovereignty, security and development, and raise it to a global level," noting that "the Chinese people did not intimidate, oppress or enslave the peoples of other countries," in a direct message. Western countries that have colonized the countries of the world, tore them apart, and plundered their wealth.

If anyone dares to separate Taiwan from China, China will not hesitate to fight, and will fight at any cost, to the end. This is China's only option, and the pursuit of Taiwan independence is a dead end.

These phrases were uttered by the Chinese president on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party in early July last year, which numbered about 100 million members.

These words are still ringing in the ears of Western leaders who consider him the most powerful leader of China since Mao Zedong, founder of the People's Republic of China, and they are counting him a thousand accounts, after the huge leap he made in building the Chinese nation, and raising the ceiling of its aspirations to compete for leadership world, changing the current international system, and standing up to the United States, which is seeking to strengthen its leadership alone in the world, and thwart the attempts aimed at its participation in this leadership.

In the face of the United States!

The United States is no longer the only one that sets its annual plans to achieve the interests of its people, both internal and external, and to enhance its qualitative capabilities capable of confronting any aggressive intentions, and maintaining its leadership in the world.

American leadership is no longer the only one announcing to its people and the world that “leading the world is not an investment you make to feel complacent. It is the way you ensure that the American people are able to live in peace, security, and prosperity. It is in our undeniable self-interest.” It was stated in the interim strategic guidelines for US national security that President Biden set for his administration last March, the guidelines that are being implemented with high accuracy, since that time until now.

The United States today is no longer the same as it used to be. It speaks, others listen, decides, others implement, threaten, and others tremble. It has finally found itself facing a challenge that cannot be ignored, threatening its leadership, and signaling the demise of its empire, to catch up with its predecessors.

So the president was clear in previous strategic directions when he said, “We must also contend with the fact that the distribution of power around the world is shifting, with new threats being created. China, in particular, is becoming more assertive and fast, it is the only competitor able to combine Between economic, diplomatic, military, and technological power to pose a sustainable challenge to a stable and open international order, Russia remains determined to consolidate its global influence and play a disruptive role on the world stage. Both Beijing and Moscow have invested heavily in efforts to check American strengths and prevent us from defending Our interests and allies around the world."

For the first time, since the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, the United States has faced such a position as its world leader.

Despite the cold stances and yellow diplomatic statements issued by the two sides towards each other, both parties do not hesitate to use the most heated and threatening terms regarding higher interests and strategic national issues.

Hence, the responses of Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fengyi to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin at the annual discussion forum of ministers, generals and security experts, which was held in Singapore by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (British), last June, when he strongly rejected the allegations of the United States about Beijing's actions on the world stage, saying that "the United States is pressing for confrontation and trying to encircle China," warning that China will "fight to the end" if anyone dares to separate Taiwan from China.

China is ready for dialogue as long as the discussions take place in mutual respect, but if the United States wants confrontation, China will fight to the end.

The Chinese version of the crisis

China is moving with wide and accelerating activity locally, regionally and internationally, politically, diplomatically and in the media, to respond to the American narrative of the nature of competition and conflict between it and China. internationalism, threatening the rules-based international order, and Western democratic values.

The Chinese Defense Minister strongly rejected the US accusations and threats against China, and explained in his speech to the aforementioned Singapore conference China's vision in the following points:

Global affairs should be approached through consultations by all stakeholders, rather than having one country or a small group of countries dictate what they want.

No person or state should impose its will on others, or bully others under the guise of pluralism.

The US Indo-Pacific and China strategy is an attempt to build an exclusive small group in the name of the Indo-Pacific Free and Open, with the aim of hijacking countries in the China region and targeting a specific country.

US strategy in the Indo-Pacific is a means to create conflict, confrontation, and containment and encirclement of others.

China holds that for any strategy to be viable, it must adapt to historical and global trends and contribute to regional peace and security and the common interests of all.

Countries should uphold the rule of law and oppose unilateral actions.

The system of human civilization must be based on the rule of law, or else the law of the jungle will prevail.

States should not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.

Unilateral sanctions and long-term jurisdictions must be rejected.

A country is not in a position to champion any international rule or system, if it only follows the rules that suit its interest.

As a responsible principal country, China will continue to contribute its share in building world peace, promoting global development, safeguarding the international system and providing public goods.

China will not seek hegemony, will not engage in military expansion and will not participate in arms races.

The Taiwan issue is an internal Chinese affair, and China will surely achieve its peaceful reunification, and those who support Taiwan independence to divide China will not achieve what they want.

The United States once fought a civil war for unity, and although China would never want such a civil war, it would resolutely crush any attempt to seek Taiwan independence.

If anyone dares to separate Taiwan from China, China will not hesitate to fight, and will fight at any cost, to the end. This is China's only option, and the pursuit of Taiwan independence is a dead end.

With regard to the South China Sea, China is on the path of transforming it into a sea of peace, friendship and cooperation.

The joint efforts of China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will lead to greater stability in the South China Sea, and freedom of navigation is not threatened in the South China Sea, given that China is one of the biggest beneficiaries of it.

Some great powers exercised hegemony over navigation under the pretext of freedom of navigation, and flexed their muscles by sending warships and warplanes to the South China Sea.

The countries of the region should be vigilant and prevent countries from outside the region from interfering in the region and turning the South China Sea into turbulent waters.

The United States should stop demonizing and containing China, stop interfering in China's internal affairs, and stop harming China's interests.

China deeply regrets what is happening in Ukraine, but it is the countries looking to gain from the situation that caused the conflict, and pressure and sanctions will solve the crisis.

China is ready for dialogue as long as the discussions take place in mutual respect, but if the United States wants confrontation, China will fight to the end.

The US administration does not pay attention to this Chinese vision, and is moving forward to implement its vision, which it has been implementing since 2017 under former President Donald Trump.

So far, all the actions of the current US administration towards China confirm that it is determined to repeat the Ukraine scenario, and it does not seem ready to back down from that.
