A great silence should reign in the village.

Tuesday evening, a white march is organized in Vignoc (Ille-et-Vilaine) to pay tribute to Marlown, who died on Sunday August 28 at the family home.

Located north of Rennes, the small town is mobilizing to offer a last tribute to this 16-year-old teenager, whose lifeless body had been discovered near the family home.

The father-in-law of the young man, of American nationality, was indicted for homicide and imprisoned.

In police custody, he denied the facts.

The investigating judge placed him under investigation "because of the serious and concordant indications found".

This Monday, it was the football club in which Marlown played as a player and as a manager of the young categories which announced the holding of a white march.

The start will take place this Tuesday, September 6 at 7 p.m. at the Albert Barbou stadium in Vignoc.

“Thank you for coming with a white outfit and a white rose”, specifies the Avenir sportif Vignoc Hédé Guipel Foot.

“Marlown was passionate about football, lived for football.

He was appreciated by all the generations present within the club, ”wrote the association in a first tribute message.

Dozens of messages of condolence and support had poured in from clubs in the department.

A fatal blow to the head?

The autopsy of the young man's body had revealed that the death "would be linked to a depression of the cranial box", had informed Philippe Astruc.

The public prosecutor specified that the examination “made it possible to note other lesions” on the body of the young man.
