The Charles-Péguy college in Moulins (Allier) is now a pilot establishment for the European “Unplugged” program.

This is a preventive action intended to make pupils understand the mechanisms and the risks associated with addictions, including those to alcohol and tobacco.

An operation will be carried out with newcomers entering sixth grade, explains

.

For one hour each week, these college students will participate in a role-playing game.

The activity was designed to develop group cohesion in them.

“Unplugged” was also designed so that students learn to say no to harmful temptations.

The device also intends to promote the empathy of the players.

The sessions will be supervised by six adults.

Some will be members of the teaching teams.

In addition to this role play, the college management offered future sixth form students an "Open School" on Monday and Tuesday.

The volunteers were thus able to discover the premises and the teachers in a relaxed and playful context.
