  The current round of the epidemic has brought a great impact on the consumer market in Xinjiang. In particular, key cities and cities such as Urumqi, Ili, and Changji, which rank among the top in retail sales of consumer goods, have been severely affected by the epidemic.

With the gradual improvement of the epidemic prevention and control situation in Xinjiang, the epidemic prevention and control is about to become normalized. The business system in Xinjiang will give full play to its functions, seize the critical period of economic recovery, and combine the operation and characteristics of the consumer market in Xinjiang to effectively expand and stabilize consumption. Increase work and strive to promote high-quality business development.

  Since the outbreak of the current round of the epidemic, the Xinjiang Department of Commerce has strengthened market monitoring, closely tracked the supply and demand dynamics of important daily necessities in Xinjiang, focused on supply and demand blocking points, and promoted the cross-regional and cross-country mutual recognition of vehicle passes for the transportation of living materials; timely activated Xinjiang, Gansu, and Yunnan The joint guarantee and joint supply mechanism of eight provinces including Shandong, Shandong and other provinces will speed up the organization of the transportation of living materials from different places; relying on key enterprises in the three-level guarantee system of autonomous regions, prefectures, cities and counties, strengthen the organization of goods sources, enrich commercial inventories, and ensure the source supply of daily necessities .

According to the monitoring data, at present, 12 key commodities, including super rice, flour, edible oil, vegetables, meat, eggs, and milk, are in sufficient supply, with stable sales and inventory.

The 14 major vegetable wholesale markets in Xinjiang have sufficient supply, vegetable prices have basically maintained a reasonable operation, and the daily transaction volume has remained above 7,000 tons.

The daily slaughtering transaction volume of meat in Xinjiang reached 1,383 tons, which ensured the overall stable operation of the rigid demand consumer market in Xinjiang.
