Currently, Typhoon Hinnamno is approaching the southern coast of Jeju, and the waves are pounding like this in Marado, as if they are swallowing up the coast.

Typhoon Hinnamno is currently located in the sea about 500km south-southwest and is a super typhoon with a very strong intensity with a central pressure of 935 hectopascals.

According to current expectations, it is expected to pass the closest to Jeju at around 1 am tomorrow, land on the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do at 7 am, and exit the East Sea in the morning.

As the rain cloud belt formed in front of the typhoon collided with the pressure valley approaching from the west, it is currently raining all over the country except for the Yeongnam area.

A typhoon warning will also go into effect in Jeju from 8 am.

It has already rained more than 100mm in the Jeju area from yesterday to today, and 233mm of heavy rain fell at Witse Oreum.

In the future, a large amount of rain of 100 to 300 mm will fall nationwide in the future. In particular, heavy rainfall of 400 mm or more is expected in the southern regions, which are directly affected by typhoons, and 600 mm or more in the mountainous areas of Jeju. It should be noted that the 100mm can be poured very strongly.

There will be strong winds that can blow people away, and the risk of storm surge is also increasing, so you need to pay attention to the damage caused by typhoons.
