Recently, the high temperature weather has eased, but the inflow of water from rivers is still relatively small, and the water level of Poyang Lake continues to decline.
At 12:00 on September 2, the data showed that the water level of Xingzi Station, the iconic hydrological station of Poyang Lake, was 8.50 meters, constantly approaching the 8-meter extremely dry water level.
A large area of wetlands and tidal flats are exposed, and the abundant aquatic resources such as fish, shrimp, snails and mussels have attracted a large number of summer migratory birds to come here for food and play, and the number has increased significantly compared with the same period of previous years.
