On September 3, "the most beautiful wetland in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" Hengshui Lake in Hebei Province ushered in the 2022 fishing season.
On that day, fishermen from more than a dozen villages along the lake carried out fishing operations in accordance with regulations.
In order to further improve the ecological environment of the waters of Hengshui Lake and prolong the restoration period of aquatic biological resources, the opening period of Hengshui Lake this year is from September 3 to November 3, which is one month shorter than previous years.
During the opening of the lake, in order to ensure safe and orderly fishing, the Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau of Hengshui Binhu New Area sprayed and registered fishing vessels according to a fixed format.
Hengshui Lake is located in Hengshui City, Hebei Province. It is the only national nature reserve in the North China Plain that maintains a complete wetland ecosystem such as swamps, waters, tidal flats, meadows and forests.
In recent years, with the strengthening of environmental protection, Hengshui Lake's ecological environment has been significantly improved, and it has become a paradise for many birds.
