Yang Xiaoguang, director of the Chengdu Municipal Health Commission, reported that since August 12, Chengdu has reported a total of 1,332 local cases, of which 952 were confirmed and 380 were asymptomatic.
It is reported that from 0:00 to 24:00 on the 3rd, the "8.25" local epidemic in Chengdu added 72 local confirmed cases and 52 new local asymptomatic infections.
In the past three days, the number of new cases in Chengdu has remained between 120 and 160, a decrease from the previous period. The epidemic is now entering a plateau.
It is understood that in this round of the epidemic, the number of newly infected people in Chengdu has shown an upward trend since August 26.

After joint research and judgment by national, provincial and municipal experts, the Chengdu Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters decided that from 0:00 on the 5th to 24:00 on the 7th, nucleic acid testing for all staff will continue to be carried out in Chengdu.
