The reporter learned from the Beihai Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport: At around 13:00 on September 4, 2022, a fishing boat sank in distress 17 nautical miles east of Chengshantou in Weihai.
After receiving the report, the Beihai Rescue Bureau made every effort to organize rescue forces to rescue those in distress, and immediately dispatched rescue helicopter "B-7126" and rescue ship "Beihai Rescue 111" to rescue.
After verification, a total of 12 people were in distress.
The rescue helicopter "B-7126" rescued 5 people in distress in the distressed waters, and rescued 6 people (11 people in total) from passing ships and returned to Weihai Airport.
"Beihai Rescue 111" is heading to the scene to search for a missing person.
