Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators has launched its integrative project “Theater and Performing Arts”, which will continue throughout the year, bringing about a qualitative leap in the skills of its members and their communication with the other in line with the data and requirements of the spirit of the age, based on its pioneering role and vision as a community partner in building Conscious and influential generations, targeting to build the personality of its members and enhance their community presence.

The theater and performing arts project is a creative training project targeting the affiliates of the quarter-century institutions “Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Girls of Sharjah and Sharjah for Capacity Development - Tatweer”, in all their age groups from six to 31 years to provide free spaces through which they express themselves with their talents and creativity through A number of programs in different theatrical disciplines.

The supervisor of the theater and performing arts project in the quarter-century institutions, Adnan Salloum, said that the project aims to build the human personality cognitively, skillfully and emotionally through tact and good dealing with others, and to enable participants to master the classical Arabic language, and to communicate experiences and knowledge in different ways, in addition to developing strong skills Observation, sensory appreciation and constructive criticism, developing their leadership personalities and working in a team spirit, as well as enhancing their abilities to communicate their message to the public.

Regarding the mechanisms of implementing the project, Salloum added: “We initially receive the affiliate in the children of Sharjah from his early childhood, and the next one is for us to enjoy and play. The idea of ​​dramatic play and creative drama, all of which are games that organize the child’s knowledge and fantasies, so we adjust and frame them within a system that takes him to wider horizons to acquire many knowledge, experiences and skills.”

The theatrical arts program is based on a series of creative scientific workshops in all forms and disciplines of performing arts and stages of show construction, and is presented throughout the year under the slogan "Let's make theater a school of morals and freedom", according to systematic professional levels in association with the age group, and the program aims to invest the talents and energies of the participants.
