Recently, in the Nalati Air Grassland, Xinyuan County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, more than 300,000 mu of alpine grassland has ushered in the forage harvest period. The local deployment of freight vehicles, lawn mowers, rakes and balers totaling 700 vehicles to ensure the timely harvesting of the grassland in the air, and a busy scene on the grassland.
It is reported that this year, the aerial grassland is expected to harvest more than 40,000 tons of pasture, which can meet the needs of more than 90,000 (only) livestock for wintering.
Nalati grassland has been a famous pasture since ancient times. The beautiful grassland scenery is combined with the local Kazakh ethnic customs, and it has become a famous tourist resort in Xinjiang. With the continuous promotion of local ecological protection measures such as grazing prohibition, rest grazing, and rotational grazing , grassland ecology further improved.
