The reporter learned from the Daixian Rong Media Center in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province on the evening of the 3rd that the current geophysical exploration work is over, the drilling equipment is in place, three fixed monitoring points are in progress, and the overall rescue work is progressing in an orderly manner.

  According to the introduction of the on-site emergency rescue headquarters, emergency rescue is currently organized according to the determined plan.

On-site 4G high-definition ball control was completed to complete emergency control, and the video emergency command system was activated.

A professional rescue platform has cleared 1 km of rescue passage, and 2 excavators and 1 bulldozer have carried out operations, excavating 16,000 cubic meters of rubble.

  After the accident, Xinzhou City and Dai County launched emergency rescue response to non-coal mine production safety accidents.

An emergency rescue headquarters was established at the scene of the accident, with 8 groups including comprehensive coordination, emergency rescue, emergency support, geological disaster monitoring, epidemic prevention and control, and medical treatment support, to fully organize and carry out rescue operations.

  Leaders and experts from the Shanxi Provincial Emergency Department, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Shanxi Bureau of the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, and the Xinzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government are directing and guiding emergency rescue work.

The comprehensive rescue force composed of firefighting, electric power, communication, medical, public security and other departments has all been put into on-site rescue, and the equipment and materials required for the rescue are fully guaranteed.

  Preliminary verification by the on-site emergency rescue headquarters showed that the location of the collapse where the accident occurred was located in the east-central part of the mining area, and there were cracks on the platform surrounding the collapsed pit, which brought considerable difficulties to the rescue work.

  The cause of the accident is under investigation.
