Iwate Prefecture announced on the 3rd that 925 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
It was 140 fewer than the previous Saturday, and it was the 10th consecutive day that the number had fallen below the same day of the previous week.
The total number of infected people in the prefecture reached 94,160.
