Falafel meal enters 90 Iraqis hospital

Falafel meals caused food poisoning for about 90 people in the Iraqi province of Maysan, in the second incident of its kind in the province in less than a year.

And sources in Maysan Police, in southern Iraq, said that "about 90 cases of poisoning were recorded as a result of eating falafel meals from a popular restaurant in the district of Al-Majar Al-Kabeer, and the injured rushed to hospitals to receive treatment."

According to the same sources, "most of the injured are in good condition, and most of them have been discharged from hospitals, while the competent authorities have launched an investigation with those responsible for the popular restaurant, to find out the cause of this poisoning."
