Zou Xiaomei, a girl from Chengdu, is currently serving as the ICRC's economic security representative in Aleppo, Syria.

This position is mainly responsible for providing food, living materials and helping civilians suffering from war and conflict to restore their normal lives.

  After joining the ICRC in 2019, Zou Xiaomei worked in Ukraine, South Sudan and Ethiopia.

Previously, her footprints have also involved Jordan, southern African countries, Nepal and Burundi, engaged in humanitarian emergency assistance and other work.
