Typhoon 'Hinnamno' will move north to the Korean Peninsula with a very strong force.

Next week's Monday and Tuesday are likely to be the most difficult in Korea.

Let's learn more by connecting to the Meteorological Center.

Please tell me, Caster Lim Eun-jin.

<Caster>

Typhoon No. 11 is currently moving northeast of Taipei, Taiwan.

The current strength of the typhoon is 'very strong', and it will gradually speed up toward Korea and move north to the Korean Peninsula.

If you look at the time closest to the typhoon, it seems that Jeju Island will be early morning on Tuesday and Gyeongnam coast will be between Tuesday morning and morning.

At this time, the strength of the typhoon will be maintained as a river, and the whole country will fall under the influence of the typhoon between Monday and Tuesday.

Therefore, although it is not directly affected by the typhoon, it is raining all over Jeju Island and the southern part as a large amount of water vapor flows in.

Let's look at the amount of rain expected across the country by the 6th.

A record-breaking heavy rain of up to 400 mm or more is expected on Jeju Island, the southern coast, and the east coast of Gyeongsang Province, and in particular, in the mountainous areas of Jeju, more than 600 mm.

Especially on the southern coast and Jeju Island, you need to be especially careful about strong winds.

In the metropolitan area, it looks like it will start raining tonight, and in particular, very strong rain and wind is expected across the country between Monday and Tuesday next week, so please prepare thoroughly in advance.
