China News Service, Hangzhou, September 3 (Guo Qiyu) According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, at 14:00 on September 3, the center of this year's No. 11 typhoon "Xuan Lannuo" was about 740 kilometers south-east of Zhujiajian Island in Zhejiang Province.

According to the forecast of geological disaster risk level for the next 24 hours jointly issued by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Zhejiang Provincial Meteorological Bureau at 8:00, the meteorological risk of geological disasters in some areas such as Ningbo and Shaoxing is very high (red warning).

At 9 o'clock on the 3rd, the Emergency Response Office of the Joint Conference on Emergency and Prevention of Geological Disasters of Zhejiang Province started a Grade IV emergency response to geological disasters.

On September 2, "Xuan Lannuo" weakened to a strong typhoon level, but the intensity was still very strong and its size was huge.

Under the influence of its peripheral cloud system, rainfall occurred in the eastern coast of Zhejiang and other places, especially in Ningbo and Zhoushan, and there were heavy rains and local heavy rains in some areas.

From 8:00 on the 2nd to 8:00 on the 3rd, the surface rainfall in Ningbo City was 52 mm, Zhoushan City was 48 mm, 9 counties (cities, districts) had surface rainfall exceeding 50 mm, 2 exceeded 100 mm, and 128 towns (streets) rainfall Super 50mm, of which 58 are super 100mm.

At the same time, strong winds of magnitude 8 to 10 or even magnitude 11 appeared on the coast of Zhoushan, Ningbo.

The meteorological department predicts that "Xuan Lannuo" will move northward at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually increase.

It moved into the East China Sea in the middle of the night on the 3rd, and the intensity may gradually increase to a super typhoon level (52 m/s). Offshore seas turned to the northeast.

Affected by "Xuan Lannuo", there will be more obvious wind and rain in Zhejiang.

There is heavy precipitation in parts of the eastern region, among which Ningbo, Zhoushan, eastern Shaoxing, northern Taizhou and other places have heavy rainfall.

The East China Sea should be protected against strong winds of magnitude 14-17, and the coastal seas should be protected against strong winds of magnitude 12-15, and strong winds of magnitude 12 and above will last for more than 24 hours.

It is reported that there is still some uncertainty in the later movement path of "Xuan Lannuo", and the possibility that the path is more westward cannot be ruled out, and the change of the path will bring greater rainfall variables.

At present, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Water Resources has upgraded the emergency response to flood and drought disaster prevention (typhoon defense) to level III.

The Zhejiang Provincial Department of Water Resources and the Zhejiang Provincial Meteorological Bureau jointly issued an orange warning for mountain torrent disasters.

The Zhejiang Ocean Monitoring and Forecasting Center issued a red wave warning.
