The Gorillaz group will be back and as with every new album, there will be a lot of people!

The virtual group, created by Damon Albarn of Blur and cartoonist Jamie Hewlett, has released a new single, dubbed

New Gold

, featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown, a precursor to an album due out February 24.

Among the guests of this new opus, entitled

Cracker Island

, we will find Stevie Nicks, Bad Bunny, Beck, or even Thundercat.

The artists have recruited a prestigious producer, since it is Greg Kurstin, the man with eight Grammy Awards.

A little crazy

Damon Albarn and his band had already played their new single on stage on August 19 at the All Points East festival in London, and at the time he announced that it was a title "a little crazy, for be honest ".

To accompany the album, Jamie Hewlett, the co-creator of the project with the leader of Blur, also wrote a story in which it seems that the virtual group has embarked on the creation… of a cult.

Originally based at Kong Studios in West London, the group of musical misfits - Murdoc, Noodle, Russel and 2D - have moved to Silverlake, California, where they recruit new members to join The Last Cult , in search of the one truth, the only one that can fix the world,” reads the press release.
