In December 2021, the State Food and Drug Administration urgently approved the registration applications of the new coronavirus neutralizing antibody combination therapy drug ambasvirumab injection (BRII-196) and romisevirumab injection (BRII-198).
This is my country's first approved novel coronavirus neutralizing antibody combination therapy drug with independent intellectual property rights.
In July 2022, the State Food and Drug Administration approved the registration application for Azvudine Tablets to increase the indication for the treatment of new coronary pneumonia.
This is an oral small molecule new coronary pneumonia treatment drug independently developed by my country.
Previously, in the anti-epidemic struggle in Wuhan, Hubei, relevant academicians and experts led a team of scientific researchers. In view of the situation that no specific drugs were available in the early stage, and guided by the need for treatment, a batch of drugs such as the "three medicines and three prescriptions" of traditional Chinese medicine were screened out for the new coronary pneumonia.
