Mariah Carey called Meghan Markle a diva to her face

Mariah Carey gave Meghan Markle a few cold sweats.

The artist was the Duchess of Sussex's guest on the second episode of her

podcast on Spotify and she simply called Prince Harry's wife a "diva".

The weight of words

Mariah Carey then tried to catch up by explaining that she was talking about Meghan Markle's "sublime outfits" and her appearance in general.

A compliment, therefore, for the most diva of singers, but that the Duchess of Sussex took "as a criticism".

“It stopped me cold… I started to sweat a little.
