Cyclists and riders also concerned

Many municipalities in Aveyron have in fact prohibited access to the wooded areas of their territory because of the danger of fire starting.

The hiking sites of Liaucous, Eglazines and St-Marcellin are also prohibited to walkers.

However, there are several thousand of them every year to walk these paths.

People traveling on horseback or by bicycle are also affected.

On the 3,500 hectares of the Palanges forest massif, motor vehicles are prohibited in the forests until at least September 10.

The decree issued on July 12 has indeed been extended.
