The public swimming pool in Tagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, which resumed business after taking measures against the new corona infection for the first time in three years, was crowded with many families on the last day of the season.

Due to the influence of the new corona, the public pool in Tagawa City was closed last year, but from the 9th of last month, it opened with disinfection and temperature measurement, as well as restrictions on the number of people.

On the 31st, the final day of this summer, many families visited and enjoyed swimming in the 265-meter-long pool with flowing water and playing on the large slide.

This year, about 60% of the number before the spread of infection, about 55,000 people visited.

A girl who visited the public pool said, "The slide was fun," and her mother said, "I'm glad I was able to bring you at the end. I want to come again next year."

Ryuji Morita, head of the Tagawa City Cultural Lifelong Learning Division, said, "I'm relieved that I can finish it safely.I was very happy to see the smiles of the children this year. Corona will be next year. I hope that it will converge and we will be able to operate as usual."
