Recently, the Shanghai police detected a case of producing and selling counterfeit brand chicken essence, destroyed more than 10 counterfeit dens and counterfeit shops, and seized more than 4,000 bags of counterfeit brand chicken essence products, 5 tons of bulk chicken essence, and more than 23,000 pieces of counterfeit brand packaging materials. 5 sets of counterfeiting equipment such as printers and inkjet printers, and the sales amount involved in the case is more than 4 million yuan.
The Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau’s Food and Drug Environmental Investigation Corps found during daily inspections that many online stores were selling a certain brand of chicken essence at prices significantly lower than the market price, which was suspected of being counterfeit.
After identification by the rights company, it is confirmed that it is a counterfeit brand product.
After investigation, the police found that the fake brand chicken essence sold by the criminal suspect Lin and others were all purchased from Zhu and others in Shanghai.
On July 22, the task force launched a centralized network collection operation to destroy this criminal gang that manufactures and sells counterfeit goods in one fell swoop.
At present, the public security organs have taken criminal compulsory measures against Zhu and other three suspects for the crime of counterfeiting registered trademarks, and took criminal compulsory measures against Lin and other four suspects for the crime of selling commodities with counterfeit registered trademarks.
The case is under further investigation.
In the next step, the police will continue to dig deep into the entire chain to investigate and deal with this case.
