As Hold Me Closer, the duo of Elton John and Britney Spears, was released today, the British artist has lifted the lid on the design of the title.

“It's difficult when you're young.
Britney was broken.
I was broken when I got sober.
I was in a terrible state.
I've been through this feeling of being broken up and it's horrible.
And luckily, I've been sober for 32 years and I've never been happier.
Now I have the experience to advise people and help them, because I don't want to see artists in a sorry state,” he said.
The British artist wishes only one thing to Britney Spears today.
“Rehab is such a wonderful thing for anyone.
And I'm just crossing my fingers that it gives her the confidence to get back in the studio, make more records, and realize that she's damn good," he said.
“I'm Uncle Elton.
They can call me,” he concluded of artists who need help and dare not wave to him.
