The Angoulême Francophone Film Festival stands out as the launching pad for major productions, but also for first films.

More than 50 feature films are presented this year.

Among the first films, there is one that stands out:

Marchand de sable

, by Steve Achiepo, a story about the business of slum merchants and the sometimes tenuous border between solidarity and illegality.

Sandman

will hit screens in February 2023.
