of the bullfighting festival without bullfighters that was held this Friday in
Retuerta del Bullaque

Ciudad Real
), on the occasion of its patron saint festivities in honor of San Bartolomé Apóstol, and that has been suspended after the accident.
This has been confirmed to Efe by the mayor of Retuerta del Bullaque,
Miguel Ángel Villa
, who
has not been able to confirm the state in which the bullfighter is
, who has been treated immediately in the square, from where he has been
transferred to the General University Hospital from Ciudad Real
, which is about 90 kilometers away.
On the other hand, sources from the Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha (Sescam) have indicated to Efe that the bullfighter has not yet reached the hospital, where he will probably be operated on for the
wound he suffers in a groin

festival has been suspended after the catching occurred
