Shocking footage documented the moment a daughter attacked her elderly mother in the Ras al-Nabeh region in Lebanon, amid great anger across social media platforms and calls for the daughter to be arrested as soon as possible to be punished.
The footage was published by two social activists, after the victim's neighbor provided them with a video clip documenting the incident.
And the media quoted a social activist, as saying that previous complaints and their contact with them indicate that the daughter assaulted her mother, but the lack of evidence prevented them from taking the appropriate action, until the victim's neighbor was able to document the moments of the assault.
According to Lebanese media, the security authorities are investigating the incident to arrest the perpetrator and take legal measures against her.
