Kochi Prefecture announced on the 25th that 1,816 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
With this, the number of confirmed infections in Kochi Prefecture so far has reached 76,494.
Kochi Prefecture also announced five new deaths in the prefecture.
This brings the total number of deaths in the county to 213.
