  On August 21, a forest fire broke out in Chewang Town, Hejiang County, Luzhou City.

After the fire broke out, Sichuan and Guizhou mobilized fire-fighting helicopters and professional forest fire rescue forces, and at the same time integrated more than 1,200 local emergency teams to carry out rescue efforts.

The fire threatened the safety of houses, and forest firefighters fought with all their might.

  At 5:30 on August 24, the forward team of the Panzhihua Detachment of the Sichuan Forest Fire Brigade arrived in Tiantai Town to investigate the fire scene.

At the same time, another group of forces set up a water pump to clean up the fire site on the south side of Huaiyang Temple in Tiantai Mountain.

  At about 8:25, the fire surrounded Huaiyang Temple in Tiantai Mountain. The rescue force on the scene quickly mobilized the water source to intercept the fire on the west side of the line of fire.

Another group of forest fire rescue personnel attacked the flank on the north side to prevent the fire from rushing up the mountain after the fire line went down the mountain, and the rest of the rescue forces cooled and consolidated the building.

There was no open flame on the north side of the scene, and there were open flames in the other three directions.

At the scene, 60 forest fire rescue forces arrived at the Tiantai Reservoir and set up water pumps to fight and humidify the open fire on the south side of Shibaiti (place name).

  At the scene of the fire, the fire spread rapidly due to the wind. A residential house in the mountain was about to be surrounded by fire. Fire rescue personnel quickly rushed to the residential house with water pump equipment. The smoke had engulfed the entire building.

  The forest firefighters immediately started the rescue in groups. The three groups used water guns to quickly suppress the fire, watered the roofs of the houses and the surrounding unburned vegetation, and the rest followed up to clean up.

After nearly 4 hours of continuous and tense fighting, the open fire at the scene was successfully extinguished.

"Fortunately, you all arrived in time, otherwise my house will be destroyed by fire," said Wen Guangcai, the owner of the house.

  It is understood that after the danger of the houses was lifted, the forest firefighters packed up their equipment and quickly rushed to the next point to carry out rescue and disposal.
