Elisha Cuthbert felt pressured into posing for sexy pics

Elisha Cuthbert has not always been in control of her career.

remembered her beginnings and the way she felt compelled to agree to pose for sexy photos when she was very young.

"There really was no other option at the time," she told the microphone of the

The order came directly from the film studios and, believes the actress soon to be in her forties, "we were probably too young to be subjected to this and to feel under pressure to do it".

She adds that seeing other actresses submit to it was part of this idea that she couldn't say no and had to play the studio marketing game.

“Halle Berry was doing it, for God's sake.

Jennifer Aniston was doing it,” she recalled.

Elisha Cuthbert admits that she felt "objectified" by this sexy character, who was not her.

And the photos are not the only ones in question: the lists established by the media according to the sexy potential of the actresses are other painful traces!

“Even like when someone reads my bio, these things come up that don't mean anything about me or my career.

It's not like I won an Olympic medal.

It was just a list that some random magazine decided to create,” she concludes.
