"Lena and Justice"

The feature directorial debut of Ekaterina Veshcheva reflects the reality of the Russian hinterland, where local and visiting guests peacefully coexist.

In the center of the story is Lena, the personification of a strong Russian woman.

Only in a pair of herself she chose the complete opposite - the migrant Maksud.

For his sake, the heroine will stop a galloping horse, and enter a burning hut, more precisely, into a police station.

“I hope you get a kind and bright picture about people from the provinces and about the small world that surrounds every person,” Vokrug TV quotes the director as saying.

According to the plot, Lena, a saleswoman in a small store, dreams of getting married with her lover.

The man is in the country illegally, so he cannot issue a Russian passport and officially sign with the bride at the registry office.

Because of the offenses, Maksud often comes to the attention of the guardians of the law, and Lena has to save him every time.

Communication with the police for Lena becomes a matter of course, because she longs to eradicate this flagrant injustice.

Anna Ukolova ("Elsa's Land", "The Geographer Drank His Globe Away"), Parviz Pulodi ("Operation "Muhabbat", "Brotherhood"), Vitaly Kishchenko ("Own War. Storm in the Desert", "On the Moon"), Sabina Akhmedova (“High Security Vacation”, series “Copper Sun”), Nikolai Schreiber (“Captain Volkonogov fled”, “Arrhythmia”) and others.

“This is an ensemble film.

We cannot imagine it without great artists and the energy of interaction created by them.

Despite the serious issues raised in the plot, this will be a light comedy film, scenes from which could take place in any city in Russia, ”said Alexander Shvydkoy, general producer of the film.

"Just a man"

At the center of the story is a young man named Sasha (Philip Avdeev).

He leads an ordinary life: he works in a bar, meets a girl and makes big plans.

Sasha and Laura (Agata Muceniece) are about to move to Spain, where the apartment and bar given by the girl's parents are waiting for them.

However, Sasha's measured life is turned upside down - he finds out the whereabouts of his biological mother (Chulpan Khamatova), who left him in the hospital 30 years ago.

Sasha is imbued with sympathy for her, realizing that her mother's life is full of difficulties.

He has to make a choice - to leave with his beloved to Barcelona, to a brighter future, or to help a relative with epilepsy and find out his roots, remaining in Moscow.

The family drama directed by Yana Yusupova-Klimova introduces the viewer to the problem of loneliness, which follows people who have grown up as orphans.

The idea of the picture arose after the director's communication with teenagers left without parents.

“The idea for the script was born from my experience of working and observing teenagers who were left without parents.

It seems to me very important to explore the topic of loneliness and difficult adaptation in the adult world of an orphan child.

But the movie is not only about that.

This is a movie about forgiveness.

A movie about a person who, despite everything, is able to love, and this love is above all.

This is a movie about the importance of the institution of the family and the need to help loved ones - no matter what they are, ”the TV Workers portal quotes the director of the tape as saying.

The creative tandem of Avdeev (“Summer”) and Muceniece (“Beautiful Life”) was joined by Chulpan Khamatova (“Doctor Liza”), Evgenia Simonova (“Mediator” TV series) and others.

Filming took place in the historical part of Moscow and ended in June 2021.

"After.

Happily Ever After” (After Ever Happy)

The fourth installment in the "After" film series reflects the crisis in the relationship between Hardin (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin) and Tessa (Josephine Langford).

Since the release of the first tape, the characters have matured quite a lot - Hardin is no longer the cruel and gloomy guy with whom the ingenuous and good girl Tessa fell in love.

As a couple, they went through many hardships and their love only grew stronger.

But the heroine is tired of playing the role of savior for Hardin.

Afraid of losing herself and following her dream, the girl leaves for another city.

The hero finally finishes writing his book about his affair with Tessa and includes new details of his life in it.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Anna Todd, who originally released "After" as fan fiction inspired by artist Harry Styles of the popular boy band One Direction.

“By the time we moved from books to the character of Hardin in the script, I didn’t need to be inspired (by Harry Styles. -

Having lost his parents early, the boy was brought up by relatives and grew up not like everyone else.

Known as a "black sheep" throughout the district, the hero dreams of the neighbor girl Solvor, whom he has been in love with since his youth.

As a teenager, wanting to impress a girl, he sets off an explosion, as a result of which Solvor almost dies.

Johan becomes an outcast and leaves for America.

Many years later, the hero returns to his homeland.

He hopes that the girl will forgive him and accept his feelings.

He may be familiar to Russian viewers from his roles in the films "Muddy Water", "The Secret of the Seven Sisters" and "Kon-tiki".

The latter film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.

The director was Hallvar Vitso, for whom the tape is the first in a full meter.

"Zalot" (Le test)

Anna, a happy mother of four children, is at the center of the comedy by French screenwriter and director Emmanuel Poulain-Arnaud.

According to the plot, the family idyll is broken when a woman accidentally finds a pregnancy test with two strips in the trash.

The heroine begins her own investigation.

Everyone falls under the suspicion of the newly minted detective: from the teenage daughter and the eldest son, who meets with several girls at the same time, to the alleged mistress of her husband.

Critics praise the film for its interesting, funny dialogues and character development, as well as the soundtrack and the well-chosen cast, especially note the role of the mother performed by Alexandra Lamy.

The actress is known for her role in another comedy melodrama Let's Swing the Bodies.

In addition, Philippe Catherine (“Avril and the Fake World”) and Valerie Kruse (“Love with Obstacles”) are involved in the tape.

The author of Toute La Culture, Olivia Le Boyer, writes that the creators of the tape do not seek to cause the audience to laugh at any cost or to caricature a certain category of the population.

The finely written script shatters archetypes - the bright and funny comedy touches on certain social issues openly and kindly, and the film's calm and flowing atmosphere lends it more charm.

The idea of the picture belongs to screenwriter Thibault Vanhulle, who worked on the film "Chess Player" with Gerard Depardieu in the central role.

For the film "Flying" he wrote the script in collaboration with director Poulain-Arnaud and screenwriter Noé Debre ("Daddy's Girl").
