The Nature association in Occitanie is launching an appeal on Monday to repatriate two injured buzzards to the specialized clinic of the National Veterinary School of Toulouse (ENVT).
The two raptors, one of which has a broken wing, were collected last Friday and Saturday respectively by private individuals and are still at home.
Their transport does not require any specific equipment: "a cardboard box that you slip into your trunk is enough", specifies Mickaël Nicolas, the coordinator of the association's mediation centre.
The volunteer, one-day taxi, can also benefit from the reimbursement of mileage costs at the end of the calendar year.
