On August 20, the steel box girder on the south side of the MP4 pier (main tower) of the Sixth Yangtze River Bridge in Luzhou, Sichuan, which was constructed by Energy China Gezhouba Electromechanical Company, was successfully hoisted.

The Sixth Luzhou Yangtze River Bridge is the world's largest diamond-shaped three-tower cable-stayed bridge currently under construction, with a total length of about 7.5 kilometers.

After the project is completed, it will be of great significance to develop Luzhou into a regional central city at the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Chongqing, drive the development of Luzhou, and promote the integration of urban and rural economies.

The single section of the steel box girder structure hoisted this time is 5.2 meters long, 51.4 meters wide, 4 meters high, and weighs 308 tons. The construction site is installed by two 260-ton bridge deck cranes.

The hoisting work officially started at 8:38 a.m. on the 20th, lasted 2 hours and 37 minutes, and was successfully hoisted at 11:15.
