British Prince Andrew's famous interview with the BBC is included in a new musical about the prince's life.

Comedian Kieran Hodgson will play the prince in the hour-long television musical to be broadcast on British Channel 4, writes The Guardian.

It was in 2019 that Prince Andrew was interviewed by the BBC about his association with the American multi-billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in custody on suspicion of sexual abuse of minors.

The interview will also be filmed

In the interview, Prince Andrew was confronted with the information that he himself would have raped an underage girl on several occasions in 2021. He denied the information but the interview was considered a complete media disaster for the prince.

Last summer it was reported that the prelude to the interview will be a film with the title "Scoop".

Peter Moffat, known for the TV series "Your honor", will write the script and the recordings are expected to start in November.

After the interview, Prince Andrew was stripped of his public duties.

The now-adult woman sued him in a civil lawsuit in the United States, but earlier this year the parties reached an out-of-court settlement.

The prince has continued to deny the allegations.
