Miyagi Prefecture New Corona 2 deaths 3255 confirmed infections, record high on Sunday

Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 21st that 3,255 people were newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

It was the highest number of confirmed cases on Sunday to date.

Two deaths were also announced.

The total number of infected people in the prefecture is 198,701, and the number of deaths is 269.
