According to the meteorological drought monitoring on August 20, there are southern Jiangsu, southern Anhui, southwestern Henan, western Hubei, most of Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, most of Guizhou, Chongqing, most of Sichuan, southeastern Gansu, and central and eastern Tibet. Moderate and above meteorological drought, and the scope of severe and above meteorological drought in many provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) has increased significantly.
It is expected that in the next three days, most of the above-mentioned arid areas will maintain high temperature and little rain, and the meteorological drought will continue to develop.
