[Explanation] Walking into the depths of the campus of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Federation of Trade Unions Cadre School hidden in the downtown area of ​​Nanning, the red wall is hidden in the blooming Laos national flower - frangipani.

This secluded corner is the former site of the "Six Seven" school.

In 1967, in order to aid Laos, which was deeply involved in the war of anti-aggression, China built a school for the children of Lao central cadres in Nanning free of charge. It has a history of 55 years.

  Where we are now is the showroom of the "Six or Seven" school.

The former site of the "June 7th" school is regarded as a historical witness of the friendship between China and Laos, and is engraved with the deep feelings of the people of China and Laos.

Behind it is a touching story of peace and friendship, suffering and growth, devotion and hope.

  [Explanation] "Six or Seven" schools set up kindergartens and grades one to six of primary schools. The school leaders and teachers are appointed and dispatched by the Lao government to be responsible for teaching organization and management.

The Chinese side is responsible for school funding and logistical support, providing a stable and safe learning and living environment for Lao teachers and students.

  Where we are now is the China-Laos Friendship Forest. The small tree planted by the children of the "Six Seven" school has now grown into a towering tree.

For those children who have experienced war in Laos, the "Six Seven" school can be described as a pure land of happiness.

Although they are in a foreign country, they feel extremely safe, comfortable and warm, because here our united, friendly and hard-working Chinese staff warmly receive them and provide them with a full range of services.

On the campus of the "Six or Seven" school, children can play sports on the spacious court and perform productive labor on the grass.

Grow the fruits and vegetables they like to eat, and reap the fruits of self-reliance, breathe fresh air, and study cultural knowledge while sitting in bright classrooms.

At the same time, in the spare time of intense study, the children like to sing Chinese revolutionary songs, play table tennis, and watch theatrical performances organized by the Chinese staff. Their spare time is very colorful.

  [Explanation] Most of the students who studied in the "Six Seven" schools have become outstanding talents in all walks of life in Laos, and have made indelible contributions to the continuation of the friendship between the people of China and Laos from generation to generation.

  From 1967 to 1976, a total of 1,074 students studied in "Six or Seven" schools, and most of these schools have become the backbone of Lao national construction.

We have reached more than 400 alumni so far.

  [Explanation] Currently, Guangxi officials and Laos have signed a cadre exchange and cooperation plan; the China-Laos poverty reduction cooperation project with Vientiane and Luang Prabang as demonstration sites, and the Laos-China (Guangxi) Agricultural Cooperation Demonstration Zone are helping to improve local production and life. Conditions; many Lao students studying in universities in Guangxi have become a bridge to promote friendly exchanges between the two countries and continue the friendship between China and Laos from generation to generation.
