We could have guessed it: the image of Will Smith was very damaged after the slap in the face to Chris Rock, during the last Oscars.

But it is now undeniably proven by a very serious study developed by Q Scores.

Twice a year, in January and July, all Hollywood stars are evaluated by a polling institute, whose data is then analyzed by Variety.

And the results are irrevocable.

Before the slap, Will Smith was simply among the 5 most respected stars, or at least seen in the most positive way by the people questioned [1800 people representative of the American population and aged 6 and over].

The actor's "positive" score (i.e. the number of people who see him as one of their favorite actors) rose from 39, a score that allowed him to be as respected as beloved stars like Tom Hanks or Denzel Washington, at 24, a mediocre score, according to Variety.

Worse, its “negative” score has exploded, going from less than 10 to 26. By way of comparison, the average Hollywood negative score is 16, so it is well above.

The whole family ?

And Will Smith is not the only one to have been affected by the incident, since his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, has also seen his popularity drop.

While it was already very low, at 13 positive score, it went to 6, while its negative score went from 29 to 44!

Chris Rock, on the other hand, hasn't seen a noticeable change in fan appreciation of him, as his positive and negative scores remain at 20 and 14, respectively.

On the other hand, many more Americans now know him, since his score of "public recognition" has increased from 66 to 84.

When you get hit live during one of the most watched programs in the world, inevitably, you tend to become very famous...
