In Chad, it is on August 20 that the inclusive national dialogue announced for more than a year is due to open.

Objective: the end of repeated wars and the holding of free elections.

Yesterday Thursday, two important rebel leaders returned to Ndjamena.

But tomorrow, there will still be notable absentees, because several opponents suspect the transitional president, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, of wanting to cling to power.
