China News Service, Lhasa, August 19 (Reporter Zhao Yan) "During the aid to Tibet, I found that the local people's timely treatment rate after a stroke was very low." Xu Min, an expert from the seventh batch of "group-style" medical aid teams in Beijing Therefore, in order to play the role of the stroke center, she has carried out a number of special tasks. On the one hand, she has built a stroke regional collaborative treatment network with the surrounding grass-roots communities, and at the same time, she has strengthened grass-roots publicity and increased people's awareness of seeking medical treatment.

Xu Min is the deputy chief physician of the Department of Neurology, Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, Beijing. His specialty is cerebrovascular disease and peripheral neuropathy. He has various treatment methods and is good at integrated Chinese and Western medicine.

In July 2021, she aided Tibet and came to Lhasa City People's Hospital to serve as the director of the Department of Neurology.

Xu Min introduced that stroke (including acute cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage) is the most common type of cerebrovascular disease in plateau, which seriously endangers the health of plateau people.

In order to improve the medical level of Lhasa People's Hospital in stroke treatment, Xuanwu Hospital started to support the development of the neurology department of the hospital in the form of hospital package department from 2019.

In November 2020, Lhasa People's Hospital was officially awarded the honorary title of "Integrated Stroke Prevention and Control Center" by the Stroke Prevention and Control Engineering Committee of the National Health Commission, becoming the only national comprehensive stroke prevention and control center in Lhasa, Tibet.

On April 10, 2020, the stroke center of Lhasa People's Hospital was officially launched, marking a new level of stroke emergency care in Lhasa.

Since the establishment of the Stroke Center of Lhasa People's Hospital, by opening emergency green channels, integrating and optimizing medical resources, strengthening stroke prevention, screening, first aid, rehabilitation, follow-up, publicity, standardized and systematic diagnosis and treatment, and improving the rapid and accurate treatment of stroke , The comprehensive treatment ability has won very precious time for saving the brain and saving lives, the treatment time is greatly shortened, and the treatment rate is improved.

Xu Min said that after the establishment of the stroke center, stroke patients in Lhasa and surrounding counties and districts can receive standardized intravenous thrombolytic therapy within the "golden time window", which effectively reduces the mortality and disability rate in the acute phase; Long-term follow-up treatment, medication and rehabilitation guidance can be obtained during the period, which effectively reduces the recurrence rate.

In view of the low rate of timely medical treatment for local people after a stroke, Xu Min believes that it is not only necessary to continue to strengthen the process management and quality control of the green channel in the center, but also to build a stroke area collaborative treatment network with the surrounding grassroots communities, while increasing the number of people seeking medical treatment consciousness.

Therefore, with the support of the leaders of Lhasa People's Hospital, Xu Min carried out various forms of special work.

She told reporters that on the one hand, the latest version of the stroke prevention and control norms was trained in the whole hospital, and many times to Lhasa Jiarong Community, Linzhou County Village, and Mozhugongka County Hospital to carry out stroke publicity and education work. We also organize academic conferences on stroke and invite well-known experts in stroke disciplines such as Xuanwu Hospital and Union Hospital to give lectures.”

"Beijing Plateau Adaptation Research and Rehabilitation Center (Lhasa Branch Center)" settled in Lhasa People's Hospital is also one of the important tasks of Xu Min during his aid to Tibet.

She told reporters that the center is to protect the health of Beijing-aided cadres in Tibet, provide them with continuous health management and regular physical examinations, and conduct research on altitude diseases.

In addition to the altitude sickness clinic every week, Xu Min also regularly conducts practical health lectures for cadres in Tibet.

Aiming at the common insomnia, headache, dizziness, etc. in the plateau, I used my strengths of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine to carry out methods such as sticking auricular points and dialectically using decoction.

At present, the director of the Fangcang shelter hospital, Nima, is also the deputy hospital of the Lhasa Municipal People's Hospital. Chang, "From the preparation of the Fangcang shelter hospital to the present, she has been hands-on and devoted countless efforts."

"It's a pity that I can't fight side by side with my Lhasa colleagues from far away in Beijing, but when I heard that the second batch of new crown patients had recovered and left the cabin, I was really happy for them." On the occasion of the "Chinese Doctor's Day" on August 19, Xu Min said , "I want to say to the front-line medical staff, 'You have worked hard!' We are united, our hearts will always be together, and I believe that together, we will be able to overcome this epidemic." (End)
