There are various disciplines of severe respiratory disease. Except for the pediatric department, which is not equipped, others are equipped with this kind of equipment. Doctors and nurses have experience like this.

When we went in on the 9th, there were about 1,600 people in it. Basically, some beds were full, and some beds were even full because they were adults and children.

[Explanation] According to Chong Yutian, the biggest purpose of the Fangcang shelter hospital is to isolate the positive infected people from the society and reduce the possibility of transmission as a source of infection.

The medical staff work in the cabin in every detail, including admission, examination, medicine delivery, food delivery, hygiene, etc.

(Medical staff) 1 shift of 4 hours, 24 hours rotation.

Why set 4 hours?

It is because our protective equipment basically reaches the highest alert for its protection in 4 hours.

This work is fine.

From maintaining the operation of the entire cabin, including the lives of the patients, for example, some people in need of care, and then doing some checks to help them, some need to take medicine, distribute medicine, and clean the cabin. The rubbish in the cabin needs to be collected by these nurses, packed and sent out. Basically, they have not stopped.

In fact, although it is said to be 4 hours, our team members will wear protective clothing in advance, and then go in and hand over the shift.

[Explanation] In addition to basic work, the medical staff in the cabins will interact with patients and adjust their emotions when they are busy every day.

If our nurses are free now, for example, there are children among the children, because some of our nurses are also in their 30s and the children at home are so old, so they play with them as if they were their own children, and do it together with them. Some small crafts.

If you have free time, chat with them and do things like lala.

Because they (symptoms) are relatively mild, most patients (symptoms) are mild.

We are like this, asking our team members to pay more attention to them, and then have the opportunity and time to learn about science (medical knowledge) with them.

[Explanation] In the first Fangcang shelter hospital in Sanya, many patients spontaneously formed volunteer teams to help medical staff do what they can.

There are also some volunteers in the cabin now, that is, patients. They have seen that our medical staff are busy, and they also spontaneously organized some to help us maintain order, that is, the hygiene in the cabin helps us collect garbage or help us. We push carts, deliver medicine, or deliver things.

Because he has no symptoms or very mild symptoms have passed, he is now waiting for his negative to be discharged from the hospital, he is also helping our medical staff to do some things within his power.

[Commentary] Chong Yutian introduced that at present, the number of people discharged from Sanya First Fangcai Hospital will increase day by day, and the large-scale discharge of cured patients will come soon.

He called on social science to look at the virus and the epidemic and not discriminate against the cured.
